From the first call when I set up my son's appointment, I had a great feeling about The Fun Kids Dentist. The person I spoke with on the phone answered all my questions, explained everything from insurance to what to expect when we get there. She was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived for our appointment, we met our hygienist and she was such a sweetheart. She explained everything she was doing to my 5 year old. He didn't get scared or nervous once. My boy happens to be on the spectrum and I did let them know that from the beginning. I was worried he might get scared because he is unsure of new things and has some but we left with him saying he had fun and he loves The Fun Kids Dentist. He then asked me the next day when we were going back. We did have a quick follow up a few weeks later and he walked right in the place like a champ and everyone he saw from the receptionists and billing to all the hygienists and the Dentist said hi to him. Then they took a picture of him holding the mascots when he was done. Everyone made him feel so special. It's now been a few weeks since we've been there and he mentioned the Dentist again and said he loves it there. This is so important for kids to get a good first impression of going to the Dentist. Now he even looks forward to brushing his teeth at night and in the morning and flosses. Things were not like this when I was a kid but I'm sure glad my boy gets to have this experience. I'm hoping this helps him keep up with good dental hygiene going forward. Thank you so much to everyone there. Grayson and I can't wait to see you all in 6 months.
Definitely recommend this dentist! They take care of you and care about the whole child - from dental meds to ortho needs. We have been with them since the kids were just babies. Love this place!
