I had no problems at all. The man was on time, walked in with the part in his hand because he had already thought that was why my oven wasn't working, but the grills did. He was nice and polite, but not a chatty guy. Fixed the stove and was out in less than 15 minutes. I'm wondering after reading all these awful reviews that if you have a home warranty company behind you, there won't be problems, but if you call independently there are problems. Just a thought.
Per Wendy Q's review, almost exactly the same scenario. Jeff (name on the invoice), went to my 81 yo father's house, charged him $50 and told him he needed a new dishwasher because all the wires underneath had been eaten by mice. I suppose it's possible, but I didn't believe him (I'm his 55 yo son). I pulled out the dishwasher and found one small wire broken off of the plug at the water pump/valve. I put a new end on the wire and fixed it in about 20 min. There are ZERO wires that show any signs of being eaten. I suspect this guys goes to about 30 houses a day, collects $50 each and does zero fixing. Do NOT use Kelbachs!
I usually don't write a review but this is necessary. Had a 2 year old dishwasher that stopped working all of a sudden. Called Kelbachs who specializes in our brand. Jeff came out. Fiddled around for a few minutes. Charged us $50 to tell us that it could be 2 problems and he would have to order both parts, quite costly. He did not even slide the dishwasher out to inspect. We called another repair company. Their repair man took 20mins to slide the dishwasher out and find a piece of glass in the pump. Removed it and the dishwasher works just fine. Not worth the service call since there was no service.
