“By the time I found Rascal Training & Boarding, I was desperate because the previous day, my dog Millie (a rescue dog we had just adopted), got hold of a plastic pen and ate part of it! By the time we realized what happened, only a few shards of plastic were left. Although it safely passed and she was fine, I knew I needed some expert professional training to deal with her dangerous habit of eating foreign objects.<br>After reading the excellent reviews about Rascal Training & Boarding, we decided to enroll Millie in their 4-week Board and Train program. Zoe, the owner of Rascal T&B and also head trainer, was able to curtail that behavior in the 4 weeks that Millie was staying with her, and she gave us tools to keep Millie from reverting back. She also did general obedience training such as sit, stay, come, and addressed other concerns such as leash pulling, reactivity, potty-training, and off leash recall. Our family could see Millie's behavior has greatly improved since she came home. She still has her sweet, cute, exuberant personality but she is not as wild or impulsive as she used to be, and when she does something naughty, it is easy to correct her. We are grateful for the hard work that Zoe did to get Millie to where she is now, and we will continue to follow her training guidelines, so she doesn’t backslide.
