Master Gilbert is an incredible teacher and world class martial artist. Everyone in the school is welcoming and inviting. In addition to learning martial arts the students are also working on improving themselves mentally and all of the instructors really care about all of their students. I couldn't recommend her school enough for anyone that is looking for something for their child and the whole family.
We've been at Elevate for a few months now, and have had a great experience with our 8 year old daughter. Master Gilbert and her staff are incredibly welcoming, and their instruction really helps our relatively shy little one to build confidence in trying new things. She feels a sense of accomplishment from attending, and we the parents appreciate the fact that there are drop-in classes at different times to accommodate busy schedules. The parents nights out and other drop-in events are also fun, and make it feel like even more of a community.
The staff is really supportive and great at pushing everyone to do their best. Our daughter joined the summer camps last year and then we enrolled her full time after as she liked it so much. Getting her that physical activity, confidence and self defense has been really great.
