“It's been since June that I last had a haircut, and just yesterday, I was asked if I'd recently had one. This is a common occurrence, and as much as I'd like to think I'm just built different, I know I'm not. I first saw Raiden in April 2021, and since then, I get my hair cut roughly every 4-6 months. That's not because I don't care about my hair or because I'm lazy or forgetful; it's because that's the amount of time it takes for the time and effort Raiden put into each haircut to finally unravel.So, if you're like me, and enjoy rocking some length just as much as you appreciate a fade, there is simply no other barber to consider than Raiden. Add to that a relaxed, low-pressure environment, where you can be completely at ease after a long day, without any obligation to hold a conversation, or, if you prefer, be as chatty as you please, and you couldn't pay me to go to another barber.“

“After almost a year of not getting a haircut due to an error made by my previous barber where I have been going for years whom gave me a buzzcut that was bordering on a shaved hair despite requesting a regular haircut, I begrudgingly went for a haircut as my hair was long. First of all, the wait wasn't long despite me not making an appointment (I didn't know that an appointment was needed). It was less than 15 minutes wait. Jason was my barber, and I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed by his professionalism! He is dedicated to his craft! I will be a regular from this point onward, and I will be sure to book an appointment with Jason.“

“I stopped by Seoul Barber to get a crew cut since my local barber was out on vacation for the week and I the service I received was beyond my expectations.I am very picky about how I want my haircuts and often have to show pictures to try to get a similar result and usually leave disappointed.I was astonished with how I got the exact cut I wanted just by stating short I wanted the top and sides. The barber was very skilled too. He only used a clipper to give me a one trim on the back and sides and gave me a taper fade using only and comb and shears. I also liked how he finished my haircut with razor detailing.This shop looks like it’s cash only so make sure you have some if you plan to visit.Services: Haircut“

“Just got my monthly haircut at Ry’s, and after a couple years of being a client, felt like it was time to add my review. Ry is a top-tier professional and craftsman in the hair business. When I came to his studio, I had just left another barber after a bad experience, so I was pretty wary of trying a new barber. Ry put my mind at ease with his attention to detail and nailing my haircut on the first try (and every visit since then). I have straight, thick Japanese hair, and it’s very easy to tell when an unskilled or undisciplined barber cuts my hair - with Ry it has been spot-on every time.Ry’s Studio is a laidback, single chair, live-work shop that shares a space with his lovely family and two dogs. The vibe is friendly and comfortable, but not all up in your business like some barbershops. If you’re used to chain barbershops or shops in the suburbs, he might seem a little expensive, but I shopped around for a while in this area and all the high end shops have comparable prices. If you need your hair to be on point and want to be confident in professional consistency, Ry is the guy.One tip: Because this is a live-work studio with dogs, he keeps his door locked. Just give a firm knock on the door and Ry will let you in.“

“They usually run late on our appointments, but its not too bad. We've had haircuts done by 3 different barbers, but DEAN is the best. Dean listens to our needs carefully and does a good job.Most recently, got a haircut from a woman at this same location, but she didn't listen to our needs, and the haircut was very bad. Perhaps she was having an off day, but still, $40 for a bad haircut should be ilegal. The cut was very choppy. Barbers like her are what make me want to pick up my own tools and do it myself. It was a bad experience, but that's what I get for scheduling late, I guess.“
“This barbershop is great. I started coming here when we lived in the neighborhood, and I still come here even though we moved away. What I like about coming here is that it's a classic "normal" (eg not too fancy) barbershop. It's clean, no one tries to sell me hair products, and it's only 25 dollars for a men's cut with a neck shave (and it's a good cut). Most of the time I can just drop in with no wait, though every once in a while there is someone in front of me (I usually go in the mornings on a weekday).“
