I’ve been coming to the Vashon Athletic Club since the 90’s. And although I currently don’t live on Vashon, every time I come back for a visit there is something else that has been upgraded in the club. The facilities are very versatile and no matter what type of workout you’re looking for, the VAC probably has the space and equipment for you. The indoor pool area (with hot tub and cold plunge), surrounded by trees, is serene. Nick and Sarah are amazing owners and I’m grateful for everything they’ve done with the club!!

It has all the machines, weights, and workout spaces you could hope for, as well as sauna, hot tub, and a lovely saline pool. They put a lot of effort into managing the heating and cooling of the work out areas, which is nice.

This gym is great! There are Gym only, Pool only and Total gym memberships. There's discounts if you work in certain places around the island. The pool is, if I remember correctly, 30% chlorine and 70% salt water and is heated. This gym has a little something for everyone. If you love weight lifting, need personal training, like zumba, yoga, calisthenics or swimming there's definitely something to accommodate you.
