I had an urgent care appointment with symptoms that needed to be bumped in the queue based on triage guidelines and they did. They sent me to get testing first to keep things moving, and they never made me feel like I was unreasonable for coming in or being concerned. I was seen by Dr. Torres, and honestly I went in ready to be defensive and advocate strongly for myself as a patient but I didn't need to. I don't normally write bad reviews, but I've been a Kaiser member for years. During the strike, I've been unable to fill my prescriptions for two weeks. I understand the pharmacy is working hard. I'm extremely frustrated that it's taken 14 days to sort out medication that I rely on daily. Please don't send out a notice to pick up a prescription on a certain day, only to tell us they don't start filling until we're there in person. I've spent over six hours of my time trying to fill a prescription, because Kaiser is unwilling to cooperate and settle the strike with their employees.
I am extremely disappointed to see such a small number of one-star reviews from my fellow Kaiser members. Are we truly okay with accepting such poor treatment from a healthcare corporation that prioritizes profits over patients? I have been waiting in the waiting room for over three hours to receive my medication. This medication was prescribed to me during my five-day hospital stay. Kaiser shows no concern for me, their patients, or their staff. They do not care that their staff members are quitting in droves or that they are experiencing burnout.
