“My very first time here. My regular nail salon was closed and they worked me in for 4:30. The young lady who did my nails was so sweet and so fun to chat with. She got the length perfect and my nails have never been so smooth and shiny. No imperfection at all. Not to mention I asked her to match my nails with my toes and she searched endlessly for the perfect color including mixing two colors together. I don’t think I can go back to my original lady now cuz she did such an amazing job. Beautiful salon, a little small, but they were all super professional but just laid back enough. “I moved to UP almost 4 years ago. I tried a few nail salons, being from Cali a bit picky about services and quality, willing to pay a bit more if it worth it. I came across Pensee and was pleased with the friendly reception, service, variety of colors and end results. I have been going every 2-3 weeks ever since. I do not have a favorite stylist as they are all equally skilled and nice. When I bring a group in, I will call in advance. Appointments are appreciated but they do not turn away walk-ins. I appreciate that they do not up sell and will pretty much do whatever design you bring in. I am basic, stick to french either white or color tips. They offer a variety of free beverages while you are being pampered, there are several packages to pick from and they provide the best shoulder/hand/foot/leg massages. You almost forget you are there for nails. Parking garage available if you are unable to find something outside of the salon.“
