I have been going monthly to Lori for massage since 2020. I made a decision that getting a massage from her would be a budgeted healthcare / self care expense as I’ve never walked away from her office feeling anything less than completely cared for. She is a knowledge professional and provides attentive, individualized care to her clients. Additionally, she is a kind and thoughtful person. I would trust any friend or family member to her exceptional care.

Good selection of purses, collectibles and other antiques. I picked up some reasonably priced uranium glass, LE smith moon and stars glass, some bracelets and some cooking utensils. Kari is friendly and knowledgeable. I’m glad we visited!

In short Wonderful secluded getaway that can really pamper you or give you peace and quiet. In long I've thought about this place off and on since staying here many years ago. One of the teams I supported when I was at Microsoft was quite the merry band of misfits and oddballs--and I am talking about the leadership group. The rest of us seemed mostly normal. Heh. Anyway, they booked this place for 2 or 3 nights of "offsite meetings," which became a parody of corporate life. It was Michael Scott and Dunder Mifflin come to life in a quiet fjord that looked more like Twin Peaks. The setting, though! Wow. They booked all the cottages and rooms they could get their hands on for us. One of my teammates bailed, and he was my cottage-mate for the event, so I had a whole cottage to myself. Huge space, super comfortable, beautifully constructed. We had great meals and some really nice wines (I still can't believe how much alcohol they purchased for a work event) in the main building. I remember thinking over and over how I'd happily come back any time. One of the evening "tastings" was way over the top for me in a work setting, so I hit the gym for an hour before bed. It's small, but it lets you stretch your legs and get a little work in. In the years since, I've been nothing but relieved not to work with that group any more, but I'll really have to get back to Alderbrook to enjoy it for its own merits. The water and hill views are gorgeous. It's stuff we can see on any ferry ride, sure, but relaxing in a private space right on the water is always lovely. I'll never be a connoisseur of spa amenities, so I can't comment on those, but the lodging is fantastic here.
