I consider myself to be a connoisseur of veterinarian care, being a lady of a certain age who has been the owner of around 50 pets in my lifetime. I've experienced the good, the bad and the ugly and can say unequivocally, Deschutes is one of the best care places we have ever experienced. They are "old school" in that they actually answer their phones in person, which is getting to be a rarity, work extended hours, have some weekend availability--also rare these days--and are professional and caring in every aspect of treatment. It's also a quite attractive clinic aesthetically, with a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere.
