From the moment I stepped into Unique Styles Salon, I knew I was in for something special. Ayesha greeted me with such warmth and professionalism that immediately set a welcoming tone. As someone with dreads, finding a stylist who understands and respects my hair has always been a challenge, but Ayesha was exceptional.

Clean environment with manner-able staff. Boyfriend came here to get his hair done. We were greeted right away, They began right on time and finished in a timely manner. Work was neat. Only 4 stars because there was no marking outside of the business which made it a little hard to find also the high cost! He got a wash, blow dry, trim and single braids which totaled $265? It was a shocker considering it being done on his natural hair which stops above his shoulders. The braids were added at the last minute. Our fault for not questioning the cost before hand. Other than that, they were great. We will be back.

Shara and Ayesha are top notch, 100% the best stylists in our area. I have locs, and I go to Shara for my loc maintenance. She takes the ultimate care to protect and nurture your hair while achieving precise and beautiful loc maintenance and styles. My hair has grown tremendously since I began going to Shara and Ayesha. My previous stylist was really nice, but she was rolling/twisting my locs too tightly after each maintenance. I believe that's probably why my hair didn't achieve the growth and health that it should have...because she was placing too much stress on the hair roots. You won't run into that problem with Shara and Ayesha. The salon has a professional and relaxed atmosphere, and everyone there is always in good spirits with great humor. And the background music is always on point. I have to admit that I tend to fall asleep while I am getting my hair done, but that's how chill the vibe is at the salon. I was hesitant to add this review because I wanted to recognize what a great place this was and how skilled Shara and Ayesha are. Most definitely, I highly recommended this salon. However I kinda wanted to keep this gem of a salon to myself because I don't want everyone running there after I post this. I need to be able to book my monthly loc maintenance! But I'm willing to share because I know how difficult it is to find fantastic stylists who will care for your hair. So I am doing the right thing by letting others in on my good fortune.
