I have chronic pain from from neck and hip injuries sustained in 3 auto accidents spanning 2 decades (none of them my fault, but was unable to locate the bullseye anywhere on my vehicles..lol). I have had to use massage therapy to help keep the pain in check, otherwise living my life causes flare ups that include migraine caliber headaches severe enough to trigger vomiting and/or my SI joint locks up to the point of making me walk like Quasimodo! I have had to switch therapists repeatedly because I moved around the country(for my job) so I have experienced varying levels of skill and expertise from roughly 40+ massage therapists which makes me a bit of an expert on judging skill and expertise of therapists. One thing I have learned is that almost ALL therapist "claim" to be able to do "deep tissue" work(which my body requires to relax and "reset" my pain level because of my background as a former powerlifter) yet my experience has proven otherwise! Toni is one of a small handful of therapist that can work on me and produce lasting results!! Toni is one of an exceptionally rare few therapists that does "deep tissue work" FOR REAL and NOT just claim it on her website to attract business! She is a fantastic therapist and I can't recommend her highly enough to anyone who needs massage work to mitigate pain and restore function!!
