Hannah and Drew have cultivated an awesome local community at The Base Fitness. They also have provided the best access to an awesome training environment and the best equipment!It's not even close in Tacoma!!!

My husband and I are travelers and we needed a quality gym open 24/7 since we work opposite shifts. The base fitness has honestly blown away all locally owned gyms we've been to. The equipment is of the highest caliber! The bathrooms are clean and well kept, and a very nice gym shower. I believe higher tiers comes with some great benefits, we did not partake as we are only there for 3 months. I love that there are no young teens banging weights or running around. Adults who are working out, that's it. Only downside is the gym is small-ish and can be crowded at times, but that is most local gyms. I had a short amount of time to get in shape before school. I was completing a considerable amount trail running and rucking while also attending a daily crossfit gym. I needed a coach who could keep me progressing without sustaining an injury. Walker Howard was fantastic! The focus was on ankle and shoulder mobility along with gaining upper body strength. I've had a few high ankle sprains and had broken my right hand a few years ago, and none of this became an issue while training. Everyone was very respectful and motivating. Highly recommend this gym and the trainers!
