MADF is a wonderful organization that positively impacts the lives of MANY people which is amazing. HOWEVER, behind closed doors (working for the organization), it is VERY poorly led by the CEO Ahndrea Blue. There is a 50/50 split between professionalism and being unprofessional. The Making A Difference Foundation is making an incredible impact in the communities especially Pierce County. Not only for their incredible hard work at the Food Bank but also creating a garden to grown organic produce for the Food Bank and Veterans. In addition to this they help homes for Veterans, Joy Box Ministry for those needing encouragement during a difficult time (ex. death), mobile food banks, and with always thinking outside the box and making things happen with God's help and blessings. They have had many obstacles, difficulties, and challenges facing them bringing a Food bank and programs to help those in need in East Tacoma and other low income neighborhoods and people who are struggling with making basic needs met.
This is a great organization led by an even greater person who deeply cares about her community. I have been lucky enough to work for this organization that has helped me be able to give back to the community in a meaningful way. The programs provided by this organization, Eloise's Cooking Pot Food Bank being among them, truly make a positive impact on the community.
