“Third appointment in and there is no hiding them now. I am loving this experience with crocheting and having someone else do maintenance. Let me remind you it’s my 5th time with dreads and only time so far I have continued maintenance. All the times before I would start them myself or just have the one appointment to put them in. I had a few fall out after last time and it was so nice to not worry about it. Jonquil was amazing and fixed them right up. I don’t have to worry about wax or rolling them. And not spending 30+ minutes every few days on my hair for maintenance is great. I do still wash at least twice a week, it helps me with the itchy scalp. And as recommended by Jonquil I am still using a sea salt spray. When I get a little frustrated with the frizzing I will use a water base gel. Thank you Jonquil!“

“I’ve been looking for a braider for awhile now since I’ve had not the best experience & I came across Mimi. I cant tell you how many compliments I’ve gotten and how clean and neat and LONG my braids were. I was able to keep them in for so long & they weren’t too heavy for my hair.
(Also i went to Vegas & went on an ATV and my hair was still looking good after all the dirt & helmet usage.)

“The ladies at Tacoma Curly Salon are all so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable! They are experts with curly hair, which is hard to find in a hair stylist. They listen to what you want and answer any questions you may have. They want you to leave feeling confident and amazing with your hair. They also guarantee their cuts and if you find it needs a fix once you get home, you can come back and get it taken care of without charge. Their salon is cute and cozy, styled with beautiful paintings, plants, lights and color! I tell all my curly friends to come get their curls taken care of here.

Diana worked on giving me a blended balayage. I have really dark, coarse hair (and lots of it!) and often really hard to lift/process. Diana had a great grasp on color theory and she painted the most beautiful ribbons (balayage) into my hair. I loved the placement and how even my hair lifted. Recently, a client Michael D posted a scam alert as review on my page.
That review is not accurate.
First and foremost, I sincerely apologize to her for the delay in refunding her $50 deposit. I've made multiple attempts to refund her, and I even shared screenshots of the issues I was encountering. Unfortunately, her Zelle account couldn't be located on my end.

To resolve this, I offered her the option to provide a different Zelle account or the details of someone she trusts so I could issue the refund. However, she did not take any of these steps and instead reported me as a scam. As a result, my Zelle account is now blocked, and I am unable to process the refund. My bank is currently investigating her claim.

I want to emphasize that this is purely a technical issue with Zelle, and I am committed to refunding her money as soon as my account is operational again. Thank you for your understanding and patience.“
