Hate to knock a couple stars, as our carpet turned out beautiful and their pricing was cheaper than the other quotes we received, but we had a pretty poor experience with our salesperson, Dana. When we walked into the store initially, we were hardly greeted and were never given an overview of current inventory, nor did he explain anything about what was in the showroom. We fended for ourselves and ended up picking out some samples and took them home - but left the initial visit with virtually zero information on quality or price point. Hate to knock a couple stars, as our carpet turned out beautiful and their pricing was cheaper than the other quotes we received, but we had a pretty poor experience with our salesperson, Dana. When we walked into the store initially, we were hardly greeted and were never given an overview of current inventory, nor did he explain anything about what was in the showroom. We fended for ourselves and ended up picking out some samples and took them home - but left the initial visit with virtually zero information on quality or price point. The salesperson came out to give us a quote but provided a quote and nothing else - no info on warranty, install/lead time, etc. This should all be standard. He essentially acted like it did not matter if he got the sale or not - nor did he give us any information on what we were investing in with the new carpets we had selected. We then even had to call the day before the install to confirm all was set (should be the salesperson doing his job).I will say the installers were absolutely incredible - a father/son team in the business for years-- they got it done so quickly and everything looks great.From there, we never heard from our sales guy - I had to call 5 days later to give final payment and on this phone call he never even asked how it went or if we were satisfied - I had to ask on the phone "are you going to ask me how everything turned out?". Wanted to give this guy the benefit of the doubt that he would turn around his attitude but from the beginning we had a terrible experience with our salesperson and we will not recommend Sumner Carpet One for this reason - which is very unfortunate, especially when folks want to support local but options are limited. I do highly recommend B&B flooring, who was their subcontractor for installation.

If you've shopped around for carpet then you know Carpet One in Sumner is the winner for quality and value. We shopped around, got 4 bids and the clear choice was Carpet One Sumner. Heather Reese came out and measured our home, talked about the style we chose and within a couple of weeks (during uncertain times for deliveries) we had beautiful new carpet installed throughout our home. The installers Branden and Brian came out on a Wednesday and did two rooms, Thursday did three rooms and the hallway. Friday finished up with three rooms and the stairs.
