The Skin and Hair Care Lounge is a fantastic salon! They have curated a vibe that is unparalleled anywhere else in Stanwood. I have some anxiety around getting my haircut and I become overstimulated very easily. My stylist was very kind and understanding of my anxieties and very gently helped me find a cut that worked for me. The salon is also quite peaceful, not loud or overwhelming like some salons can be.
My grandmother, who has some mobility issues, also goes to the salon and they have always been very accommodating to her disability. Her stylist even offers an arm as they walk to the chair together. It feels great to know that my grandmother is... read full review
This place is great! Avery is an amazing stylist, she listens to what you want and I've been satisfied with my haircuts both visits. However, a situation came up that wasn't great, which is why it's 4 stars instead of 5. I bought a product on my initial visit in December and used it a few times and didn't like it. Fast forward to 6 weeks and as I'm talking to Avery about it she said I could return and exchange for a product that I usually buy but they were out of stock on my 1st visit. I've been looking for a great salon since the one I used to go to closed, and I finally found the perfect one! The atmosphere is great, beautifully decorated and very relaxing. The stylist who worked with me was very knowledgeable and did a great job cutting and styling my hair. I'll definitely be back for both haircut and color!
