I have been to Serenity Acupuncture & Herb several times now. I have arthritis and thus chronic pain in my mid and upper back and neck. I have been to Chiropractors, which have been good and have helped some. The problem is, as a veteran with PTSD, I have a lot of muscle tension. A chiropractor can help get things back in place, but as long as the muscles keep pulling due to tension, my spine will keep getting misaligned again soon.I had never had acupuncture prior to trying Serenity Acupuncture. I was in a severe head-on car accident a few months ago and have had very bad back pain ever since. B.J. Ko, the practitioner, took the time to get to know me and addressed not only my back pain, but also resolved my sleep issues. After the first acupuncture session my back pain was gone, completely, and I haven't had trouble falling asleep at night and waking up refreshed. Serenity Acupuncture & Herb completely improved my quality of life and I have nothing but praise for their practice.
