“I've purchased several instruments from Eben Cole over the years, and brought a number of guitars and other instruments in for repairs or setup work. His repair work is amazing, and all the instruments I've taken to him play beautifully when he's finished with them. His rates are very reasonable given the quality of work he does, and his turnaround times are good.Recently, I had the opportunity to purchase a 1925 Weissenborn guitar that was in rough shape at a very low price. Eben did extensive repairs and gave it a second life. It sounds amazing and plays wonderfully now. I wouldn't be surprised if it lasts another hundred years given the quality of the work that he did. However, I don't think I would have even considered buying it in the first place if I didn't know someone like Eben who was capable of doing the repairs the right way.He also does simpler jobs such as setups, re-frets, or even swapping out pickups and tuners. I've taken several of my guitars and banjos to him in the past for this sort of work, and they always come back sounding and playing even better than they did when they were new.If you're looking for a quality luthier who you can trust with your guitar or other stringed instruments, then I can't recommend Cole Music Company enough!“
