“I initially encountered real estate agent Laeth Al-Rashid (with Modus Mortgage) in early 2011 when I was seeking a place to rent. He quickly understood my idiosyncratic tastes, showing a handful of apartments in downtown Seattle. Within two days, I found what I was looking for – a funky, two-floor penthouse, in purple colors with spectacular views. In late 2012, I was ready to permanently relocate to the PNW and spoke with him about buying houses. Again, Laeth quickly grasped what I was looking for – not anything bland, boring, or corporate but whimsical, off-the-beaten path. The 3rd house (sic) we visited was the one – a beautiful log home, above Lake Washington, within biking distance to South Lake Union where I work. Fast forward a dozen years, during which we kept regularly in touch with Laeth – a few months ago, we met with him to discuss our aspirations and constraints for purchasing a condo close to the South Lake Union. Once we found what we were looking for, he jumped into action. Laeth also has a license as a mortgage loan broker which made the transaction more seamless. We spoke several times daily, over several weeks; he went out of his way to help with the never ending list of documents that are needed to procure the loan and complete the purchase. He spent a HUGE AMOUNT of time with us, addressing our concerns and helping us to transition from the house to the condo. The sale closed, again, within three weeks (from making the offer to the actual purchase); he continued to keep in close touch even after the sale, as we moved into our new home, assisting us with the myriad of major and minor issues we had to address.
