Dr. Scott Habegger, Inland Equine Veterinary Service, came to our home to check on our Tennessee Walker within a day of our calling him with concerns about her coughing. We knew she was not in a critical state or he would have made the time to come by sooner. We like the fact that he was willing to work with us based on our factual assessment of our horses needs. Very kind, very thorough, patient and reasonable rates. We plan that he will be our vet until our horses are gone. They’re in their mid 20s now.

I've owned and been around horses for more than 20+ years, and honestly Scott was hands down was thee best vet I've ever used. I have a historically flighty 3 year old with little to no vet history. He was incredibly gentle and kind with her. And honestly I've never seen a vet so carefully poke a horse, he gave her pets and tons of reassurance and she didn't even flinch. I'm pretty sure she lucked out and had a good vet almost similar to going to the dr's for vaccines and you know how there are some who are so good you hardly feel a poke and then there are other that well, JUST HURT.
