You will receive the help you need at Break Through if and when you are ready to live a substance free life. PHP (partial hospitalization program) is available during the day and the evening. It is time consuming but a necessary step in recovery. You will be surprised how fast you move through this section on to Intensive Outpatient thenOutpatient. No one is let to ‘slip through the cracks’ as another review stated. Each client receives one on one therapy. There are book studies, massage, yoga. EMDR is available if the staff feels it is necessary for your recovery. The facility is immaculate and up to date. Every employee and outside contractor is heavily vested in your recovery. Counselors. Group Leaders. Medical staff. Reception. Director. Yoga Instructor. Masseuse. You will rarely meet an employee there that is not in active recovery. In other words, they get it! The staff meets on a regular basis to review all clients. My group leader noticed a shift in me and asked staff to keep an eye on me. I did relapse soon after because I didn’t reach out for help. And yet again later in the program. Both times I ignored the warning signs. Each time it was handled professionally and compassionately but firmly. I knew that that second time was my final or I would be heading back to Inpatient. I am now 10 months sober. Was it easy? Hell no! The hardest part is walking through the door for the first time after finally choosing your recovery over addiction. Recovery does not look the same for any 2 individuals.
