I walked into Joann’s seeking a sewing machine. I sat down with Diane and she walked me through 3 sewing machines. I was blown away by a) how far sewing machines have come since I purchased my last one 30 years ago. Mine is still working, but has zero bells and whistles. I bought it when I was a kid and have done many a project on it. But, I’m ready for a giant leap forward. I’m super excited by what my new machine can do, and I appreciate all of Diane’s help.

It's a Viking serger, so I went to the Viking dealer. The sewing section is in the back of Jo-Ann fabric and crafts. The employee there spoke to me as though I was ruining her day by being there. I WOULDN'T have been there... read full review
