I've been visiting Valerie for years now and I heartily recommend her salon!
The salon itself is a cozy single room in a shared salon building, which lends a very calm air to the space. The restrooms and waiting areas are in a shared hallway, but all of the services are in closed rooms so I rarely overhear others during my appointments. It's lovely to be able to have a conversation and not have all the other bustle of many stylists etc. in the same room. Pricing is reasonable and based on the kind of service, so it goes up as things get more complex. Valerie makes the experience fun, comfortable, and something to look forward to! I’m always happy with the result, even when I’m still figuring out what I want in how I style my hair. Would easily recommend her to anyone that’s looking for somewhere to get a haircut!
I always have a lovely time with Valerie! She does a great job cutting my curly hair and always styles it by hand twisting each curl. And she uses curl friendly products like Amika so definitely a great place for curly girls! Plus it’s always so fun chatting with her.
