I took several hand-knotted carpets to Solak Rug Repair for professional cleaning - it was a mix of rugs that were purchased in Nepal, Pakistan, & Afghanistan, and all had been stored. They smelled musty. Solak Rug Repair returned the carpets in good shape, within a pretty short turn around. One had some moth damage on the end, and I didn't have much hope that I would be able to show it at home. Mehmet offered to fix it by removing the damaged end, then weaving it closed. The work was well done - it is smaller, but now I can lay it out for everyone to see. I am happy with all of the work. Mehmet at Solar Rug Repair was great to work with. He cleaned and repaired our 90 year old Persian rug. It turned out beautifully and he finished ahead of schedule. I loved that he taught me about the rug and his price was fair. I look forward to doing more work with him again.◦

My husband and I were looking for a trusting place to have our beautiful Karastan and Hamadan Persian antique rugs cleaned and found this absolutely amazing business Solak Rug Repair. We drove almost two hours from our house to have them taken care of by this business. This man has decades of experience handling the most intricate of materials and it showed one hundred percent. When we brought our rugs in they had been in a storage for a few years and had accumulated dirt, dust, horrible smells and looked almost unfix able, however when we picked them up today they looked as though we had just bought them!!
