I think I needed to go through a journey to find someone as amazing as Zdenka. I don't know what it is about our society, but sometimes it feels like once you turn 50, some people think you don't want to look beautiful anymore. In the past couple of years I've tried to find a stylist who really cares how I look and feel. I've been to more expensive, "it" salons thinking surely they'll know what to do. Jonathan is a class act--a man of integrity and a wonderful hair stylist. This was my first time at Salon Q.E. and I came based on all the amazing Yelp reviews. He helped fix a pretty terrible haircut I received and made this work-from-home mom who is usually in sweats all day feel chic and ready for a night on the town. Will definitely be back for my next cut (see below for before and after photos).

Salon Q.E. is the real deal! You're met with kindness as soon as you enter the building. J.R. knows his stuff and I trust him wholeheartedly with my hair. I am a performance artist here in Seattle and every time I meet with J.R. -- i feel like a rockstar. We talk about the color and cut I want for the first 5 minutes and I let him take care of the rest! J.R. has never failed to make me look and feel my best.
