I observed a kids' class in the San Francisco dojo a few months ago. I think parents will be very pleased with the instructors' approach, especially if they want their kid to learn not only competence in the physical aspect of the art, but respect for their fellow human beings. Plus, the instructors are always encouraging and upbeat with the students. The kids respond to them very positively.

A community focused dojo in Seattle's Central District. We offer adults and kids classes, and welcome students from all walks of life. We are a non-profit, all volunteer driven organization and offer a sliding scale scholarship program to enable everyone to train.
