“I love working with Arturo and his techniques have helped me improve my drumming. Practice, practice, practice! He has taught me so much about many styles of Cuban drumming and with over 30 years of experience, he has so much more to offer. Also, he has helped with singing and dancing too, as they are also essential elements.“

“I am someone with very little natural musical talent but, I long had a desire to find a new creative outlet and learn acoustic guitar. I am happy to report that Dan has actually turned me into a guitarist. I have been with Dan for some time now - I appreciate the smart, thoughtful and supportive path to not only learning to strum favorite songs but also gaining a real understanding and appreciation of the instrument and music. I now have Dan onboard for weekly sessions with my teenage daughter as well. She loves her weekly sessions with Dan and am sure she will soon surpass her Dad“

“As an older student, I've found Sound Music School an amazing, enriching experience. I've taken both guitar and vocal lessons here, and both of my instructors have been outstanding. Mike Keeney has put a ton of work into creating a topnotch school; he has taken time to choose instructors who know how to TEACH, which is a skill not all musicians possess. The emphasis on affordable weekly lessons helps to ensure improvement and increases connection with one's instructor. I can't say enough about this great school!“

“Scott was a lifesaver today. My daughter is preparing for a clarinet audition and some of her keys started clicking when played. Scott was able to take a look at her clarinet on the spot. A little over an hour later, he had replaced 2 screws and some cork, fixed an air leak and an issue he discovered with a couple of keys. One of those problem keys were used frequently in the piece my daughter is playing for her audition. After getting home, she played her audition repertoire much better than before and the sound is noticeably richer and improved. She says it's much easier to play the pieces now. Thanks so much!!!“

“My kid has been taking lessons here for over 7 years. We have really enjoyed meter music. Great for introducing little ones to music and allowing them to find their instrument. I have seen both the more disciplined student and the beginners and both are welcome. It’s been great to be apart of the meter community and we look forward to many more years at meter.“

“Spent about 5 weeks looking for a new violin. I tried many different shops in the area but Olsen Violins really stood out. Sten and Nete are kind and knowledgeable and their shop is a beautiful place that is very well kept. All the instruments I tried here were in great condition. It's easy to tell how much care they put into their work. After trying 60+ violins from Seattle and Tacoma I finally settled on one that I found here. A lovingly restored, early 20th century, German violin. I was able to make the purchase with confidence. If you're looking for a new instrument definitely check this place out!!“

“My first flute lesson with Josh was awesome! I was sent a welcome packet prior to the class and they reached out to see if I had any questions before the first session. Josh went over the basics and we got right into things, no time wasted. When I mentioned I was interested in voice lessons as well, he suggested a hybrid lesson, which is brilliant. Excited to get back into a hobby I had in 5th grade! ?“

“The guys that work there are very kind people! Even they have a lot of things to start to learn music, or if you're a professional musician too, also if you like to work on the audio they have a lot of things like pro tools and programs to have a very good time working at home with your own music production. I spent there like a whole morning exploring music stuff. Highly recommended! I'll come back! Thanks!“
