My family and I worked with Melanie to purchase a headstone for my grandparents. Melanie evidently has experience working with the Asian population, understanding that pictures speak a thousand words and displaying the most popular styles for my traditional Chinese family. My grandmother and uncle used a lot of time deliberating between every little detail of the headstone; it honestly took quite some time. Melanie was incredibly patient and did not rush the process. She gave everyone adequate time to make their final decision and was transparent about what was / wasn't included. Working with Melanie was very pleasant. A minor complaint was that I had to leave multiple messages in order to reach Melanie so I'm not sure if my messages were ever relayed. In the end, I had to reach out a fifth time before I finally spoke with Melanie. I'm sure they are always incredibly busy and do not fault them for this at all - it's just a mere FYI for anyone trying to contact them. Overall, I really enjoyed the process with Mount Pleasant.

From Mt Pleasant Cemetery

We have available property for inground interment and property for permanent storage of cremains for those who chose cremation. Markers and monuments also available. We happily allow the Seattle Historical Society to hold annual tours of the cemetery because many of the Seattle City fathers are interred at Mt. Pleasant. Ownership and management at Mt Pleasant has changed in recent years. Some areas that had been allowed to overgrow by previous owners and management have now been rehabilitated.
