I’ve been coming here for years—since 2015.. This is the only salon that can cut my curly hair and leave it looking great!
I tried so many others before finding Lake City Hair Salon, some of them charging $100-200 for a haircut that left me looking like Bozo the Clown.
I moved to Tacoma in 2017 and still drive all the way up to Lake City to get my hair cut here because they always do such a great job! Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I recently relocated from California and needed a quick trim before I began my new job. I have long, fine brunette hair. Huang (spelling?) did a FANTASTIC job. I asked to keep my face framing shorter bits in the front (some call them curtain bangs), and some long layers in the back for added volume. It turned out better than I imagined! She's a total perfectionist and took her time to confirm I was getting what I asked for. I went on a Friday around 12:15, waited for about 15 minutes while she finished up the line of men in front of me. The wait can sometimes be long but the end results are worth it. The ladies can pull off an edgy buzz as well as whatever shag, mullet, or bob you've got in mind. Pretty bare bones, no fancy hair washing stations or products, but that's what I'm looking for. ~ 52 yo female-identifying writer
