Lab | Kaiser Permanente Ballard Medical Center

The lab hours should be posted on their website since they do not coincide with the hours of the entire clinic. One would think that would be an easy fix.

My PCP ordered labs and told me to go to any Kaiser facility without an appointment. I tried going to Kaiser SLU at 4pm after seeing their online closing time of 5pm, but I was told they had already closed for the day. So I decided to go to the bigger Ballard facility midday. Online AND on the door, it says Lab Hours: 8am-5pm. I spent my entire lunch break driving and finding parking at Ballard, only to be told "Oh the lab closes for an hour midday." It would have been nice to have this publicized on the website or on the door! I even tried calling before I went, but I was routed to the generic Kaiser HQ voicemail and could not speak to a person to confirm.... read full review

Kaiser is a perfect example of how to do everything wrong. It is unimaginable that medical services are run this way without intending malice. I cannot imagine North Korea to be run worse than Kaiser.
