Such a beautiful space for art and healing and community to grow. As someone new to the area A Space Inside opened their doors wide as a welcoming place to be vulnerable and SUPPORTED. I’ve now been back three times total- for their open mic, sound bath and poetry open mic. Each event has fed me spiritually and I have left energetically renewed. I am so grateful to be connected to the venue which is clearly an extension of the owners- Sierra and Symonne. In short, I LOVE this place but even that word seems to fall short. If you’re a creative do yourself a favor and check it out!! You will leave inspired!

By far my favorite spaces to be in when expressing my whole self. I absolutely love their Open Mic Nights as well as their Poetry Nights! If you've never been, then be prepared to feel fully and unapologetically welcomed.

Inside is an amazing community space located in downtown Seattle they doubles as a retail store that sells items and art from black owners businesses and artists by day and transforms into an event space in the evenings. Inside hosted everything from paint and sips, singles nights, healing circles, and open mic nights. The owners Sierra and Symone are so incredible, sweet and welcoming. They have fostered an incredibly kind community and encourage people to come as they are. Their open mic nights in particular have been moving experience for listening to local poets, comedian, and musicians and they are FREE. Seattle NEEDS more places like this, so PLEASE come and support.
