I have a very challenging prescription (bifocal, big astigmatism, nearsightedness) and have tried a bunch of optical shops unsuccessfully over the years. I am so happy I found Capitol Hill Vision! They have been so understanding and committed to getting me a pair of glasses that is perfect! I have never had this level of customer service, expertise and willingness to work with me until the glasses are a perfect. (Sarah is so knowledgeable and terrific to work with!) I've been coming here for quite a while and have really liked the levels of customer service and glasses frames selection - lots of cute, funky options alongside the more standard ones. I also got a super cute pair of prescription sunglasses here that are the best I've had so far.The only complaint I have is that I wish they had more less expensive options for glasses frames. I think most of the frames I've seen are at least $300. Other than that, I no longer live in the area and still come here for my eye exams, despite Capitol Hill's abysmal parking situation. ;D
