Binyon Oak Tree Family Vision provides a warm and welcoming experience for its patients. The office, located in a strip mall, may not have an elaborate waiting area, but the staff makes up for it with their friendly and helpful nature. Dr. Wong and Shannon are particularly notable for their excellent bedside manner, thorough explanations of test results, and prioritization of hygienic Covid practices. They take the time to answer questions, provide referrals when needed, and even follow up with patients after appointments. The office may have a limited selection of frames, but patients don't feel pressured, and the staff is transparent about pricing. Overall, patients feel valued and cared for, and the office is dedicated to providing holistic care and optical health education.
My previous optometrist closed their office, so I had to find a new vision center. I had my first appointment at Binyon Oak Tree yesterday and it was a pleasurable visit. Dr. Wong was very warm and friendly to converse with. She was thorough with running tests, explained results in a clear manner and answered any questions I had.The office is located in a strip mall, and the waiting area isn't anything glamorous, but don't let that sway you away from scheduling an appointment here. Their selection of frames is somewhat small, so I'll be looking elsewhere, but I also didn't feel pressured. They're also still prioritizing hygienic Covid practices. They sanitize the frames after each person tries them on, and require that you wear a mask. I'm happy that I found a new optometrist that I'll gladly return to each year.
Dr Wong and Shannon are both very friendly and helpful. When I had a medical emergency, they gave me a referral and helped me to get a next day appointment at the other eye clinic while the usual wait time is two month. And that happened when Dr Wong was on vacation. The day after my checkup at the other clinic Dr. Wong called me to make sure I got treated. I really appreciate their help.
I just had my first appointment here and it was such an easy and pleasant experience. I have a lot of social anxiety and trouble focusing when I’m in an unfamiliar place, but both Dr. Wong and Shannon were very patient and communicated every step of the process clearly.
