Maria takes a very holistic approach to treating whatever ailments you may have and truly takes the time to understand all areas of your health to help treat the root of your problems!
As a first-timer to acupuncture and as someone who is (was?) afraid of needles, I don't think I could have asked for a smoother experience. I saw a few videos online of acupuncture appointments where they just went in with the needles, and I was extraordinarily hesitant. My first appointment didn't go how I expected. Our consultation was significantly more holistic than I imagined for acupuncture, covering diet, sleep, mental and physical states, exercise, and more. I have been treated by Maria for several years. She has helped me get through a traumatic auto accident, allergies, plantar fasciitis, chronic neck/back pain, elbow, wrist, knee and hand pain. Maria is professional on every level. She is also patient, gentle, knowledgeable and kind. If Western Medicine is not working, consider seeing Maria, I guarantee she can help. I consider it a bonus when ever I leave her office, as I feel so refreshed and relaxed.
