Just moved to the neighborhood and I needed someone to control these boys of mines mops. Issue is my youngest has a lot of sensory challenges and I’ve been doing a hack job for the last 10 years on his poor head.
I’ve tried to take him to other places but they instantly say they would not do it. Or even try.
We walked in today to shave and blades. I took a chance. And Aurora did not hesitate or question doing his hair. She spoke to him. Showed him all the things she was doing and made him feel so comfortable.
My heart burst. And my tears flowed, with no judgement. lol

My 11 yr old son is a bone marrow transplant/cancer patient for AML, who received a haircut from Aurora yesterday and she did amazing! Not a lot of businesses have accommodated immune suppressant clients. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was clean and sterilized for my son and even wore a face mask to keep him safe! She was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions in regards to safety and sanitization that the shop performs daily. The shop was well kept and clean. She even gave him Girl Scout cookies, it was an overall excellent service and made my son feel like a normal kid. Definitely recommend and will be coming back for haircuts!

Shaves and blades is the best place for men to go get pampered. Everything they do is awesome. Staff are friendly and professional. Always a great cut and shave. I recommend it to all my male friends. With and without hair.
