About Ulta Beauty
Ulta Beauty is a large retailer offering a wide variety of beauty products, including makeup, fragrance, skincare, and haircare. Customers can find popular brands like Tarte, Fenty, and CHANEL, as well as exclusive lines like Kylie Cosmetics and Olaplex. Ulta Beauty also prioritizes conscious beauty choices, featuring products that are vegan, cruelty-free, and sustainably packaged. In addition to shopping, Ulta Beauty provides salon services such as haircuts, hair coloring, makeup applications, and brow services. Appointments can be booked online or walk-ins are welcome when stylists are available. The staff, especially employees like Erminie and Tiara, are praised for their helpfulness, friendliness, and willingness to go above and beyond to assist customers. Customers have appreciated the time taken by staff to help with shade matching, finding the right foundation and eyebrow pencil, and providing excellent customer service. However, some shoppers have noted issues with the store's bag policy, often being charged for bags despite bringing reusable ones, and have observed an increase in gossiping behind the counter and a lack of attention to customers at times.
My five-star compliment is for Erinime, a beauty advisor at the Richland Ulta. She is very personable and clearly makes it a point to offer fantastic customer service. I always enjoy my interactions with her. Much appreciation from this Platinum member!
The store manager Tiara helped me. She was so sweet and she helped me get shade matched. I will be coming back to see her, she definitely knows her stuff. It’s nice when someone takes the time to help you, never had this type of treatment at Ulta. Definitely ask for her if you are needing any help. She was great!!!!
This store is perfect for a one shop stop for all cosmetic and beauty needs. I'm giving them 4 stars rather than 5 because lately every time I make a purchase, I am automatically given a bag and charged for it. In most stores, checkers as if you want to pay for a bag. I always bring my own reusable bags. Several times I've had to stop them and say, "I don't need a bag, please remove the bag charge." Not sure if it's laziness or trying to make an extra few cents per customer.
Also agree with some of the previous reviews--I have noticed an increase of gossiping behind the counter and ignoring customers.
