I have been bringing my Yorkie here since she came to me almost 6 years ago. She is happy to go there which tells me they treat her well. They do a great job and always follow my requests. I won't take her anywhere else.

Worst place to take your pet for a grooming! We were told that our pet would get a good trim and they made it sound like our 6 month old yorkie would be well taken care of and would look so cute after his trim. When we picked up our dog he looked like he had been electrocuted! These people did not give him a trim all they did was run a hairdryer through his fur and put a bow on him! These people are liars and do not stand by their word! All they did was complain that a haircut would upset the dog! Well what are they in business for??! This place should be closed down! I am hesistant to post this review as in the past, we were clients of The Barking Lot (with Matt at the helm) and loved it. But today I had a very bad experience with their current staff and policies. I dropped my pup off at 7:15 a.m. this morning (drop off is 7 - 8). I stopped in to pick her up at 12:15ish (pick up is before 1:00 p.m.). I wasn't really sure what "before 1:00" meant but figured if I dropped my pup off at 7:15 surely that was enough time to get her done. I was greeted by a very annoyed and unapologetic staff whose only response was "well... ugh!". I left and returned a minute later to catch them talking crap about me! My only crime was to try to be prompt and pick up my pup "before 1:00" (whatever that means). One of our last freedoms in this country is to decide where we spend our money - for me, it won't be at the Barking Lot.
