I was a student before I a became a Sensei there. I may be a bit biased but this isn't a school. It's a home.
I have been going to gyms for many years for fitness and I took a break wanting to just hike and walk outside. I wanted to start again, but wanted to do something different. I decided to try Martial Arts, and looked into a few places near my home. I decided to call Z-Ultimate in Mill Creek because they were having a free special and I liked the reviews I found. That's one private lesson a week and for adults up to three classes per week. My first lesson was great and I really enjoyed it. I was a bit shy about joining the class, but found the people nice and welcoming. This is end of my third week and I have learned so much so far. I absolutely LOVE Sensei Chase, he is well trained, disciplined and extremely funny. I train hard, but laugh just as hard too! By the way I am middle aged and was timid because you tend to have aches and pains as we get older lol, but they will adjust your work outs to make sure that you are not hurting. This is not a cheap class/training, but well worth it! Signed, A Happy White Belt :-)
Sensei's Chase and Alex both bring their own discipline, compassionate and professional teaching styles to the mill creek Dojo. My daughter loves training here where she learns not only martial arts but other important life lessons, such as speaking up, confidence, respect and hard work amongst other life lessons. I was and am student of martial arts from Kung fu, karate, judo and tae Kwon do. Where I did learn discipline, respect, hard work, skill and practice, but what I didn't learn is how to have fun doing it. This mill creek dojo implements fun in it's child training model which is exactly what young children need to stay interested while learning the fundamentals. I recommend this dojo for parents with young children who they would like to get started in the arts.
