He did a quick diagnosis over the phone, and he arranged to have his representative at our home the next morning. Brian showed up and quickly diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately, due to the age of the furnace, a replacement furnace made the most sense. Because we have used Overlake for many years, Robert knew our system and house size, so he was able to give us an immediate estimate, which we thought was a very good price. His team arrived this morning--right on time. They worked nonstop from the time of arrival until the job was complete. They did a great job! Our heat is on and the house is warming up. “We recently purchased a 25 year old condo and wouldn't you know it, the first cold weekend of the year we fired up the furnace and it worked for around 6 hours before failing. The unit had a cracked heat exchanger. The furnace & AC needed to be replaced as they were very much on their last legs, and we asked 5 companies to provide us a bid. Actually, we asked 15 companies, but 10 different HVAC companies refused to give us a bid either because A) we were in a condo complex (they won't work in condos), or B) we were in Kirkland (some of them don't like working with the Kirkland building Dept.) We don't understand either of these issues as the furnace is attached directly to our unit, and Kirkland has been super easy to work with on the remodel we just did.New Heating & Cooling wasn't just the lowest priced bid, they were one of only two companies that actually designed the system to really fit correctly into our condo unit setup leveraging and utilizing existing copper runs, existing electrical, etc. where appropriate. We signed the quote on a Friday night, and they were installing the following Tuesday morning. The did a complete removal and replacement of the furnace, coil, A/C compressor, fixed an issue in our ducting, and had us up & running in a couple days. The communicated proactively and professionally the entire time.
