My Lenovo X1 Nano mainboard died suddenly (both Thunderbolt ports not working/charging) and I didn't do a good job backup my files over the last ~3years. Sound Microsystems informed me of all the items (like Bitlocker recovery key) and options avail before any full data restoration should begin. Sound Microsystems was able to restores my data quickly and my sanity has been restored. Thank you very much!

I came in with my Framework laptop that I dropped, and unlike all the other laptop repair places in the area that I tried, the guys were at least willing to look at it with their eyes and tell me which parts might need replacing and what I might be able to do to fix it, as well as acknowledge that they don't have the parts or specific info for this very uncommon brand.I felt listened to! That's pretty much a first!So I didn't get the answer I was hoping for, but I had a great experience and felt like they asked the right questions and gave me some suggestions on how to fix it.Highly recommend so far, especially if you're looking for an informed answer.

I took my Lenovo X1 Extreme Gen 3 laptop here for a warranty repair. I had a gpu/motherboard issue. They were very easy to schedule and got my laptop back to me quickly and still working like new after several months.
