Misty Acres horse Lessons and trail rides

Highly recommend taking horse lessons here. Very reasonably priced for privates. I chose Misty Acres because I wanted to pick up horseback riding, but didn't want to be in group lessons with children. Now it's something I greatly look forward to at the end of my week.

Incredible experience first time horseback riding with Darla!!! The difference between Darla and the other horseback riding organizations in the area is that she mainly takes small groups rather than large groups. The larger the group, the more time is takes for everyone to safely get saddled up (trust me, it takes a while) and to also just feel safe that the owner can easily monitor and help everyone during the ride. We loved every moment of our 1 hour trip.Darla was superb and incredibly patient with all of us newbies. Darla took me and my partner on a wonderful trail ride. It was my partners first ride, and nearly twenty years since my last, so we both really appreciated that Darla was patient, attentive, and kind. She also took fantastic photos so we could enjoy the ride safely, but still walk away with some great mementos. Thanks again, Darla!
