No dr currently at this facility the location in auburn at the Fred Myers doesn't have a dr there either I contacted the Renton location and she was just rude and couldn't pull up my insurance even though I know I'm covered
Went this morning for an eye exam and new glasses. When preparing to place the order, I was told by the lady at the front desk that my frames were covered 100% but my lenses were partially covered & my share would be $325. When I advised her that I had been informed by insurance that frames and lenses were covered 100% and that I was allotted $450 per year, she stated that my insurance was misleading their members. I contacted my insurance and was rather upset by what I was told thinking that they did mislead me. I spoke to a supervisor who explained the vision benefitsto me. She contacted the Optical office and spoke to the lady I had dealt with. The lady told the supervisor that they had mislead me and that it showed on their system that my lenses were not covered. The supervisor then told her that they did cover the frames AND the lenses if they were billed a Tier 1 level. The lady at the Optical office said that they don't have a Tier 1 or 2. They go from Tier 3 and up. On the print out they provided me, it clearly shows that Tier 1 lenses which are the ones I was going to order are fully covered. It's not the fact that they don't have that Tier. What infuriates me is that at no time while I was there did they provide me with that explanation when I told them that my insurance would fully cover it. I guess it was benficial to them to withhold that piece of information. Instead, they blamed the insurance company for their "miscommunication & non-disclosure" of benefit details. My advise, make sure you understand your benefits and how they work so you won't be played with. I will never go back to that office because they mislead me and were not up front about the fact that they didn't bill the way my insurance required to fully cover my lenses. BE CAREFUL EVERYONE!
I had ordered some progressive eyeglasses from an online store. I could not see at all, so I returned them. I went into Vista Optical located in Fred Meyer and met Brytani. She was AWESOME. She had me check my prescription with my doctor. I found it was good. It was just that the online store was poor in quality. She ordered my glasses after finding me a fantastic deal. I got a pair of regular progressives and a pair of sunglasses. They were perfect! The manager of the store is super helpful too. Everyone is so helpful and nice. Go there and SEE for yourself!
