This story is long, but important:I started electrology in Portland, Oregon in 2016. I had no issues tolerating the procedure other than some mild redness and the expected discomfort. I had done laser in the past and it wasn't effective; the hair just returned after a month. I was excited to have finally found a type of hair removal that was effective. I had to move to Washington at the end of 2016 and needed to find a new electrologist. The first person I tried made me very uncomfortable. After my procedure I had ZERO issues with my skin . I had tiny little welts that whent away the next day! I am African American and she knew how to deal with my skin. Leanne has a new regular. ?

I was diagnosed with Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), in 2016. One of the symptoms is excessive hair growth on face, chin, and neck. I knew prior to being diagnosed that something wasn't right about my health. The facial hair caused me a lot of emotional pain. I wouldn't go out, I hid behind tons of makeup which irritated my skin more, ingrown hairs, scabs, rashes.
