“Our aged condominium had twenty-eight units that still had the old Zinsco electrical panels and per our insurance company it was upgrade them or get our insurance dropped. We interviewed four companies and MCE ended up being the one we went with. They were not the lowest bid, but their understanding of our scope and their not piling on unreasonable demands (which equated to us being charged an amount significantly above just the panel replacement cost quoted by a different company) got them the nod.

I can tell you during this process dealing with Will who bid the project and coordinated inspections / the MCE team, to Jim and Cole (the two electricians assigned to do the work) – this project went very, VERY smoothly. I had more trouble coordinating the 28 owners than anything MCE brought to the table.

Jim was the consummate professional with not only each resident, but with me (the project manager). I got daily statuses from him about the work they’d done, insights into dealing with the city inspector, and a wrap up on the inspections after they occurred. I looked at a number of the panels done and it looked very clean and organized (which certainly helped all of them passing inspection).
