I have a Toyota Sienna minivan with a Braun wheelchair accessible conversion, which makes it very difficult for standard repair shops to work on. I was having trouble with the wheelchair ramp power door opening and closing completely, as well as the driver's seat adjustment switch. I took it to the mobility repair shop in Sumner, where I wasted my time and money, because they found nothing wrong that they could repair. Several weeks earlier, I had taken the van into the Toyota dealership in Bremerton for air conditioning repair, and asked them to look at the door. They refused, as it's a converted door. I had even taken it to Fix It Auto in Silverdale, and they wouldn't look at it either. I called Liberty Bay from the mobility repair shop's parking lot in Sumner, to set up an appointment for repair of the driver's seat. I spoke with Jarret about the seat, the door, and one other issue, and then hesitantly, told him that this was a wheelchair ramp van. Jarret put his best service technician on all issues, and fixed them ALL. The driver's seat WAS a problem with the mobility wiring that Sumner missed. The door needed a new hinge, which the mobility shop didn't even bother to look at. My van came back repaired, clean, and under the initial cost estimate, thanks to the technician's deep digging into the problems. Liberty Bay has earned a loyal customer in me and my family. We will be taking all our vehicles in for service and repair.
