These people have changed my life - no exaggeration. I was ready to have a major surgery after a lifetime of painful, irregular cycles and disheartening experiences in the US medical system. I decided to give myself 6 months in acupuncture before making the call. I haven't looked back. Jenn is brilliant and intuitive - seeing her is therapeutic for my body, my mind and my soul. It's been over a year of seeing her every 2 weeks and my health is better than ever. I feel so supported in all facets of my being and I couldn't be more thankful.
Love, love this place. I have endometriosis and carpal tunnel. I'm 31 so if anyone else is reading this with my type of problems around my age, I'd definitely recommend it! Also, whichever acupuncture you go with, be sure to tell them to go slow and easy on you. They have different techniques and I bruise like a peach if I have someone working on me with stronger techniques.
I separated my shoulder at work but didn't stop to recover for two months afterwards. So when I came into nourishing life I was in pretty bad shape. I started out doing group sessions with Barclay but he switched me to private shortly after. with the private sessions he was able to get to the troubled areas better and for longer periods. I have to admit I was getting a little skeptical and thought I might even need surgery at one point. I ended up sticking with the sessions anyways and I sure am glad I did. Barclay is a great physician and person who went above and beyond in helping me recover from my injury. I will definitely return if I ever am in need of acupuncture... read full review
