I just turned 40 in August. John was the first person to cut my hair and remained the only one to cut it until we moved to Florida when I was 14. My Dad and I would go get our haircuts together. I’ve moved back since but I’m on the other side of the sound and don’t make it over that way near enough. This man is the metric I measure every barber against and no one has come close. If you live within an hour of Long John’s Barbershop you owe it to yourself to have him cut your hair. He has so many customers but I’ve always thought of him as family. John is as good a barber as there is in Port Orchard. I've been coming to him for years, he is a terrific barber and an exceptionally nice person. He's still charging an absurdly low rate too, like it's still 1985 in his shop. Very nice guy, easy to talk to. He's working limited hours these days, but definitely worth making an appointment! Great dude, does a great job, you won't be sorry!

This wonderful man gave my brother wonderful haircuts, working with his down syndrome severe mental illness as if everything was just fine. My brother rarely brought any money much less thought to tip. He stayed professional and friendly. Thank you so much to this kind man!
