“I use Angeles Plumbing for the routine work on all my properties (rentals & home). The technicians are always reliable, communicate clearly when they will arrive, work efficiently and bill fairly. All well and good. But today the Rinnai once-through propane water heater at our personal residence threw an error code that wouldn't clear (i.e. stopped working). Mark, from Angeles Plumbing came out and spent about 3 hours - completely disassembling and inspecting/servicing what until today had been a completely reliable unit. The problem: somehow a small rock had become wedged deep into the innards of the air intake. Don't ask either Mark or me where that came from, but there it was. Remove rock; reassemble unit; test; and back to normal. Bottom line: many technicians are capable of the routine work, but it takes a special talent to find and debug (de-rock) a really obscure problem so that an appliance is restored to working order.
