“Wife and I started coming here because of its proximity to the Highland Shopping Center (Gold's Gym et al). Again, we mostly come in to catch up on drying clothes or to wash very large items, so our needs and expectations are not very high. Very clean. The bathrooms have signs prohibiting drugs, elaborate washing in the sink, and backpacks-- probably to discourage activity related to gangs and vagabonds. It doesn't especially bother me as I am a longtime resident of Kennewick, and I am aware of some slight downsides of the neighborhood in general. Prices are competitive for this area; I don't quite understand the reviews grumbling about wash prices. Don't really understand the reviews about dryer performance but I have yet to check if customers are free to clean lint traps themselves or if staff maintains them. Again, my demands are not high and it's been a fairly long time since I regularly used coin-operated laundry in my college and university days.
The only thing else I would mention is that the laundry machines must be very well maintained, as they appear to be from the very late 70s and early 1980s, which was when I came to the area with my parents as a young child for the DOE-Hanford economic boom. The trim and decor of the place also suggests it was built around that time period. The main vending machine for detergents also seems to be that old, although the food vending machines are fairly new. So I am impressed that a fairly venerable business is well maintained, although ownership may have changed in recent decades.
Finally, there is a mini library between the laundromat area and the dry cleaners. As my late parents-in-law loved books, wife and I might donate from their estate or ours to it, provided ownership approves. Actually, to be fair, we want there to be a few more options besides religious and political ones. But I digress.“
“This is one of the best laundry I have found in the area, great location and fantastic machines“
